Numerous mobile devices may be exploited by a new vulnerability discovered by a ten year old girl.
The vulnerability, presented at the DefCon hacker conference held in Las Vegas, consist in advancing the clock on a tablet or phone, which open, in many games, a loophole that can be exploited. The bug was discovered by a girl after she got bored with the pace of farming games and start seeking ways to speed them up.
The girl said, while addressing the kids section of the conference: "The world of apps has obvious not thought about security, yet. Here is an import lesson they can learn from a Girl Scout. I'll show a new class of vulnerabilities I call TimeTraveler."
The vulnerability has been verified by various security researcher groups and individuals. The vulnerability is present with both Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.
